My High School Years

Dublin High was a pretty huge and sports active high school, if you walked up to anybody to just even ask a question they would probably seem in a rush to go somewhere because of practice or a game. Everything was spread out and easy to find, you could never get lost because there were titles on the buildings so you could know where you are or where you are going. It's really hard to give a description of Dublin because they were in the middle of building new buildings for incoming freshmen from all around. My high school was also known for their amazing rallies and homecoming games. Pretty much everyone was involved in the rallies, if you weren't you were missing out on amazing activities. The activity shows included hip hop dancing, ballet, pie smashing, and basketball tournaments. Of course the seniors always won, but in my year going there from freshmen to senior my class won in every game. The homecoming games were loud and interesting, even though our football wasn't so great our basketball games made up for it. We as a community were so supportive at all games for our active sports players. As for the teachers and staff they seemed to me racist and the reason for this is because I was the president of the BSU club (Black Student Union) and they never let us dance in rallies or they didn't want to hear our opinions. Dublin High had more whites than blacks, and the staff such as the principals or the vice principals very gave us a chance to grow as a union.
